Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. Her childhood was spent listening to traditional, old boleros as well as classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana loves tangos as well opera and dramatic performances. She started singing and studying the piano with her mom, she began her more intensive vocal training when she was 16 working with the famous Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. The beginning of her professional career saw her perform with many opera choruses, chamber groups and chamber groups in Guadalajara. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She is a frequent soloist at private parties and events and performs traditional Latin American Music. As a local performer and instructor, her love of music and art keeps her engaged in a wide range of projects. Ana was a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher in The Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for the opportunity to share her passion and enthusiasm for the traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to instill a sense of to, particularly in the younger age group, to help keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
